Duchess hair and beauty studio

​ 1. General Use

​

• This website is intended for booking and informational purposes only. You must be at least 18 years old to make a booking. Clients under 18 years old must have parent or guardian's consent.

 2. Booking & Booking Fees 

​

• A non-refundable booking fee is required for all appointments. This secures your slot and will be deducted from your total service cost. 

• Booking fees are non-transferrable unless rescheduled at all 48 hours in advance.​​

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling 

​

• Cancellations or changes must be made at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment.

• Late cancellations or no shows will result in the loss of your booking fee.

• Only one reschedule per booking fee is allowed.

4. Arrival & Punctuality 

​

• Please arrive on time. A 15 minute period period is allowed.

• Arrivals over 15 minutes late may result in a shortened service or cancellation.

• ​Severely matted hair or neglected extensions may require additional time or a full removal service and may be refused as a maintenance appointment.​​​

 5. Service Terms 

​

• Clients must arrive with their hair clean, detangled, and in its natural state unless otherwise advised. 

• For chemical or colour services, a patch test is required at least 48 hours in advance. 

• Hair extension maintenance services are provided exclusively for extensions installed by Duchess Hair & Beauty Studio. Extensions installed elsewhere require a consultation prior to booking.

 6. Payments 

​

• Payment methods accepted: Cash (preferred), Card, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

• Prices are subject to change without notice, but confirmed bookings will be honoured. ​​​​

 7. Refunds  

​

• All booking fees and service fees are non refundable, except in the unlikely event of an error on behalf of Duchess Hair and Beauty Studio.

• For hygiene and safety reasons, hair extensions, lashes, and haircare products are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.​​a

 8. Client Conduct

​

• Duchess Hair and Beauty Studio is a safe inclusive space.  

• Any disrespectful or inappropriate behaviour will result in immediate service refusal and no refund. 

• The studio reserves the right to refuse services where safety, professionalism, or service quality is compromised.​​

 9. Liability 

​

• We are not liable for reactions or damage caused by:

•  Undisclosed allergies or medical conditions 

• Declined patch tests

• Pre-existing hair/scalp issues

• Failure to follow recommended aftercare advice

• Clients are responsible for following the aftercare instructions provided at the time of service

• These Terms & Conditions may be updated periodically. 

• Continued use of our services and bookings will be considered as acceptance of any updates.
