Service Description
A targeted lightening service focused through the parting and hairline to add brightness and a soft, sun-kissed finish. Ideal for maintaining highlights or refreshing lighter pieces between full colour services. Finished with a blow-dry and silk press. Please select Voluminous Hair if your hair is thick, very full, or extends past shoulder length. This allows adequate time and product to be allocated for a seamless, high-quality result. Service Notes & Hair Preparation Please review before booking: • Results depend on natural colour, previous colour history, and hair condition. • Lifting is focused through the parting and hairline; this service does not include full-head coverage. • Previously coloured or chemically treated hair may require additional services or adjustment. Salon Preparation / Hair Prep • All chemical and colour services require a consultation and patch/strand test at least 48 hours prior to the appointment to assess suitability. • Hair must be clean, dry, and free from oils, heavy products, or build-up before chemical application to achieve even, lasting results. • Toners are required after most lightening services to refine and balance the lifted hair for a polished, even tone. • All colour services include Olaplex No.1 Bond Multiplier and K18 Chelating & Molecular Repair treatments to support hair integrity during chemical processing. • A blow dry and silk press are included with all colour services unless otherwise stated. • Clients must disclose any previous colouring, box dye, relaxers, keratin treatments, or chemical history during consultation, as this may affect results. • Failure to complete required consultations or patch tests may result in cancellation, with booking fees remaining non-refundable.
Cancellation Policy
All appointments at Duchess Hair & Beauty Studio require a non-refundable booking fee to secure your appointment. • The booking fee will be deducted from your final service total on the day of your appointment • Appointments must be booked at least 48 hours in advance unless otherwise specified within the service description. • Clients may cancel or reschedule their appointment up to 48 hours before the scheduled start time • Late cancellations, no-shows, or missed appointments will result in forfeiture of the booking fee and may affect future bookings • Only one reschedule is permitted per booking fee Late Arrivals Please arrive on time for your appointment. Arrivals over 15 minutes late may result in a shortened service, rescheduling, or cancellation at the stylist’s discretion. Booking fees remain non-refundable.
