Service Description

A relaxer retouch service for previously relaxed hair, focusing on new growth only to restore smoothness and manageability. Includes precise application, neutralising, deep conditioning, and a professional blow dry and press finish. Optional add-ons available. Please select Voluminous Hair if your hair is thick, very full, or extends past shoulder length. This allows adequate time and product to be allocated for a seamless, high-quality result. Service Notes & Hair Preparation • This service is for new growth only on previously relaxed hair. • Hair must be clean, detangled, and free from oils or heavy product build-up unless otherwise advised. • Clients must have at least 6–8 weeks of regrowth to be eligible. • A consultation is required if you are unsure whether a retouch or full service is needed. • Results may vary depending on hair condition, density, and previous chemical history. Salon Preparation / Hair Prep • Hair must be free from heavy oils, and in a suitable condition for the selected service unless otherwise advised. • Clients should disclose any scalp conditions, sensitives, or hair concerns prior to the appointment. • Relaxer services require a consultation and patch/strand test at least 48 hours prior to the appointment to assess scalp and hair suitability. • Hair must be clean, dry, and completely free from oils or heavy product build-up before the service. • Do not scratch, irritate, or shampoo the scalp for at least 96 hours (4 days) prior to your appointment to minimise sensitivity and reduce the risk of chemical burns. • Bond protection using Olaplex No.1 and K18 treatments is included to support hair strength and elasticity during processing. • Processing time may vary depending on hair texture, density, and condition. • Where colour enhancement is required, a gloss may be applied. Toners are not used with relaxer services. • After a relaxer, avoid tying the hair, applying products, or wetting the hair for at least 48 hours to allow the scalp and hair to stabilise.
