Service Description
A protective braiding service featuring medium-sized Duchess box braids, designed to be lightweight, tidy, and comfortable for children. Styled using gentle, low-tension techniques to protect the scalp while achieving a neat, long-lasting finish suitable for school and everyday wear. Service Notes & Hair Preparation Suitable for children ages 8–14. This is a labour-only service performed on natural hair with added extensions. The final braid size, length, and overall finish will be confirmed during the appointment based on hair length, density, and the child’s comfort. Parents are advised to remain during appointments for children under 10 to ensure comfort and reassurance. Pricing From £120 Final pricing may vary depending on hair density, braid length, and time required. Hair Selection (Required) Clients must provide their own pre-stretched braiding hair. The quantity required will depend on desired length, thickness, and hair density. If unsure, clients are advised to bring extra hair to avoid delays. Any unused hair will be returned. Salon Preparation / Hair Prep • Hair must be clean, dry, and fully detangled • Hair should be free from heavy oils, creams, or product build-up • Any scalp sensitivities, allergies, or concerns must be disclosed prior to the appointment
Cancellation Policy
All appointments at Duchess Hair & Beauty Studio require a non-refundable booking fee to secure your appointment. • The booking fee will be deducted from your final service total on the day of your appointment • Appointments must be booked at least 48 hours in advance, unless otherwise stated • Clients may cancel or reschedule their appointment up to 48 hours before the scheduled start time • Late cancellations, no-shows, or missed appointments will result in forfeiture of the booking fee and may affect future bookings • Only one reschedule is permitted per booking fee Late Arrivals Please arrive on time for your appointment. Arrivals over 15 minutes late may result in a shortened service, rescheduling, or cancellation at the stylist’s discretion. Booking fees remain non-refundable. Lash Services Due to the precision and timing required for lash appointments, arrivals over 10 minutes late may result in a shortened service or rescheduling. Booking fees remain non-refundable.
